IDOL Music Video

School is a LA based artist and producer that wanted to push the boundaries of live performance. In collaboration with the Incite Design team, we conceived the idea of building an environment of custom interactive instruments that could be looped live and played back on Ableton Live.

We created 6 custom instruments using water, lasers, and various materials activated by programmable sensors. The end result is a music video of School performing his song Idol through a choreographed progression of live playback in one continuous take.
