Archigram Instant City

INSPIRATION

“Developed in the late 1960s and early 1970s, Archigram’s Instant City concept is a transportable kit of parts that can be quickly assembled to provide the inhabitants of small towns with access to the resources and cultural attractions of a large metropolis.”

“Creating Cloud Control with the Archigram Instant City in mind helped develop the heart of this project. The ethos of EDC is essentially creating wonderful, magnificent mini-cities around the world in the form of music, art, and entertainment. We wanted to honor that spirit with this installation.”
